THE LAW IS THE LAW! I really love this one This is one of the better e-mails I have received in a long time! I hope this makes its way around the USA several times over!!!!!
So Be It!
THE LAW IS THE LAW
So " if " the US government determines that it is against the !
law for the words "under God" to be on our money, then,
so be it.
And " if " that same government decides that the
"Ten Commandments"
are not to be used in or on a
government installation, then,
so be it.
I say, "so be it," because I would like to be a
law abiding US citizen.
I say, "so be it," because I would like to think that
smarter people than I are in positions to make good decisions.
I would like to think that those people have the
American public's best interests at heart.
BUT, YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE I'D LIKE?
Since we can't pray to God, can't Trust in God and cannot post His Commandments in Government buildings , I don't believe the Government and its
employees should participate in the
Easter and Christmas
celebrations which honor the God
that our government
is eliminating from many facets of American life.
I'd like my mail delivered on Christmas, Good Friday, Thanksgiving & Easter. After all, it's just another day.
I'd like the " US Supreme Court to be in session on Christmas, Good Friday, Thanksgiving & Easter as
well as Sundays." After all, it's just another day.
I'd like the Senate and the House of Representatives
to not have to worry about getting home for the "Christmas Break." After all it's just another day.
I'm thinking that a lot of my taxpayer dollars could be saved, if all government offices & services would
work on Christmas, Good Friday & Easter. It shouldn't cost any overtime since those would be just like any other
day of the week to a government that is trying to be "politically correct."
In fact....
I think that our government should work on Sundays (initially set aside for worshipping God...) because, after all, our government says that
it should be just another day....
What do you all think????
If this idea gets to enough people, maybe our elected
officials will stop giving in to the "minority opinions"
and begin, once again, to represent the "majority"
of ALL of the American people.
SO BE IT...........
Please Dear Lord,
Give us the help needed to keep you in our country!
'Amen' and 'Amen'
Touche!
These are definitely things I never thought about but
from now on, I will be sure to question those in
government who support these changes.

The Trip went well, Twas Heaven sent. Turned out to be, A dream come true. He liked her, She liked him, I know these two souls, Will meet again.
Continue where the road did leave, Another trip in the future I see.
Happiness they both explored. Opened their hearts heavy door. Now that they let each other in. Lets watch as a new life does begin.
(You know who you are) I wish you all the best from the bottom of my heart.

A friend of mine is On the road
Out to share his heart and bare his soul.
On a trip he does roll.
To see if she fulfills his soul.
Now the two finally meet.
Hopeing they join as two soulmates should be.
Wanting her to be, not like the rest.
Hopeing heartbreak is not what he gets.
Feeling the feelings he he knows are so true.
I hope this trip is prosperous for both of you.
Hugs from your friend! Enjoy the Roll

Patricia Long May 24, 1963 to October 24, 2008 Patty passed away on Friday in her sleep at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was surounded by family who loves her dearly.
Patty was a strong woman hardly ever complained through her illness. But never stopped speaking her mind.
Once again I want to thank those of you on here that have shown your compassion and caring side. Thank you for your friendship.

Update on Patti

Just wanted to give an update on Patti my sister in law. for those who were kind enough to pray for her.
Patti has taken a quick down hill spiral. Of course we knew it was coming but you know it doesn't make it any easier.
Patti is a strong woman strong willed, stubborn and will speak her mind.
She would be there and help all the people that touched her in her life and In these last few days those people have come to support her back.
I guess we never really know how many lives we have touched until our time runs out.
Hospice has now said we are down to hours now so we try very hard to be there as much as we can. Not only did she want to see Randy and I married as a last wish. She also requested not to die alone and we are determined that, that does not happen. Even though God will be by her side I am sure she ment someone from the family to be with her.
So thank you for your prayers

Susie, the Newfie housewife from Mount Pearl , got out of the shower and slipped on the bathroom floor. Instead of falling over forwards or backwards, she did the splits and suctioned-cupped herself to the floor. She yelled out for her husband, 'Bruce! Bruce!' Bruce came running in. 'Bruce, I've done bloody well suctioned myself to the floor,' she said. 'God Dam sez Bruce as he tried to pull her up.' You're stuck fast girl. I'll go across the road and get me buddy Sonny to help. They came back and they both tried to pull her up. 'No way, we can't do it,' Sonny Sez, 'so let's try Plan B.' 'Plan B,' exclaimed Bruce, 'what da hell wud dat be bye?' 'I'll go home and get me hammer and chisel and we'll break the tiles underneat her,' replied Sonny. 'Righton, ' Bruce sez and 'while you're doing that, I'll stay here and play with her nipples.' 'Play with her nipples?' sez Sonny, ' its not exactly a good time for that mate!' 'Like hell' sez Bruce, ' if I can get her wet enough, we can slide her into the kitchen where the tiles are less expensive!'

Then the Fight Started

AND THEN THE FIGHT STARTED...
When I got home last night, my wife demanded that I take her someplace expensive... so, I took her to a gas station...
And then the fight started....
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My wife and I were sitting at a table at my high school reunion, and I kept staring at a drunken lady swigging her drink as she sat alone at a nearby table.
My wife asked, "Do you know her?"
"Yes," I sighed. "She's my old girlfriend. I understand she took to drinking right after we split up those many years ago, and I hear she hasn't been sober since."
"My God!" says my wife, "who would think a person could go on celebrating that long?"
And then the fight started...

Another Dedication

(My son asked me to write poems from their perspective, that is why I wrote these as I did.)
I thought I was all grown up, completely in control. Then one day I decided, the army was the way to go. I met with a recruiter, took my asfab test. I prayed that day to the lord, I would do my very best. I passed and I made it. To serve the red, white and blue. Mom now I'm in Ft sill, Learning to fight for you. I packed my bag before I left, with the items on their list. Shampoo and conditioner razors, soap and clothes. Then that day did arrive, when I had to go. I wanted to be strong, for you and me both. I have to admit, I had a tightness in my throat. We drove down to the armory and with another soldier I drove away. There were tears, in my eyes but you couldn't see them that day. At the MEPS station, we all formed in our lines, went through the things they wanted, They did this all the time. Once we all passed their inspections and with a weight upon our chests. We all loaded up to ship out to our destination, then we could rest. Once we reached Ft. Sill. Other men I did meet. Then we formed our Platoons, All standing Proud upon our feet. All the things we thought we knew, Were useless here to us. We had to be re taught to live like soldiers do** So when we were able to see you again. we would stand tall and proud a different way. We eat together and do PT. We march and sing our songs. But the one thing I know we share Is the loneliness for the ones we left at home. Each one of us will struggle, In our own way. But here we have each other, Each and every day. We have already lost some fellow soldiers. To victims of circumstance. The rest of us are holding strong, and will until the end. Keep sending us those letters, they get us through our days. Remind us why we are here, to fight, be strong, be brave.

You would think
Since someone is always telling you what to do, You wouldn't have the time to get home sick.
We Do!
You would think Since you do PT every day, and march so far up hills and pray, That you will see another day. You wouldn't have time to miss home.
We Do
You would think That while we serve our time at Fire duty, We would be watching out for a surprise. Instead of having time to get homesick.
But We Do!
Every day we wake up, We think of home, We think of family and our friends. We think of what we could have done, If we were not here. You would think, We wouldn't have time to miss home.
But We Do!
Everyone we love from home, Is what gets us through each day. Lets me endure all of the pain Knowing that I am, enduring it for you, makes it so much easier, day by day to get me through.
Do You?
While I am away from home, Training every day. we wonder here do you think of us In the same way? Do You?
When you get up each morning, To start your daily routine, Does your mind Have flooding thoughts of me?
Do You?
As you Take your warm shower, Do your hair just so. Do you think of me, Constantly on the go?
Do You?
Well mom and dad and dear friends I do this task for you. So as you say your night time prayers. Do you pray for our soldiers far and wide? Or do you only pray. For the child you want back by your side?
Do You?
Please don't ever, Run out of time for me. Because if you didn't know it, Thats what my life now seems to be. I will never forget you. Your voice or your face. I am out here training to fight, To protect your sacred place.
We Do Miss You, More than you will ever know. So please just give us the word. To Let each soldier know.
We Do? Do You?

The morning sun rises slow, telling me its time to go. grab your clothes, grab your keys, climb on board and ride with me. Let me show you how to glide on natures highway side by side. Let me be your friend in need cure your stress and let it be. Put your feet upon my pegs. Grip my throttle slowly turn. This gives you the power, Your body yearns. Relax your mind let it go. Let the wind blow through your hair let me show you I do care. So if you think you have no friend. Climb onto me lets travel round the bend.

Hand in Hand
You walked with me hand in hand In the sunset on the sand Down the shore we did walk Shared our feelings as we talked
To look so deeply into your eyes Made me shiver to my surprise Butterflies began to stir These are feelings of which I'm unsure
To have these feelings Is hard to explain Loneliness is usually my pain
Living in this world alone A world of silence Is usually made of gold
But to feel your presence By my side Makes me feel Even richer inside
Then to lay back In your arms so tight To feel your warmth And love is so right
For I never thought I would feel this again To feel the warmth of your heated breath You are one true love I will never forget

Mother's are a safe place Sharing all her charms When I was young and sick You held me in your arms As I grew into a young woman The secrets we did share You always kept my secrets That's one way to know you cared You were there with the birth Of each child that I had I don't know what I would have done Without you by my side You really made me glad Have I ever told you You fill my heart with pride As I grow older You will plainly see My heart is filled with love for you And forever This will be I love you

On the road that twists and turns. My body ache's my soul it yearns. give me strength to pass you by, you come close, the shivers rise. the need it grows to a desired want. My body aches for a gentle touch. A short caress a loving look. But as the humanly body pleasures, deprive me so. Onto the Harley and down the road I go. To sooth the ache's and the needs. To find a friend on the road in deed. S.Small 5/8/08
